Whether it's a slow drip that finally gave out or a sudden flood at midnight, Novato residents call one number and get a real answer. We built our Novato dispatch around speed, because every extra hour of standing water costs more to repair.
Hirex Water Damage didn't start as a franchise looking for a new zip code to expand into — it started because Novato homeowners kept describing the same frustrating experience: a national hotline, a long hold, and a subcontractor nobody vetted. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Our lead technicians hold IICRC water restoration certification and have worked jobs ranging from a single soaked bedroom to a fully flooded commercial floor, which is why Flood Damage Cleanup in Novato is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. Full insurance and Novato, CA licensing back every job we take in Novato.
Local equipment staging is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-morning one for Novato calls.
Anyone in Novato who's had a mid-night plumbing failure knows that every extra minute of standing water means more material soaked through. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
We also invest in ongoing technician training, since restoration methods and equipment keep evolving and a Novato crew running outdated techniques does the property a disservice.
Plenty of the worst jobs we've walked into in Novato started as something small that got put off for a few weeks. Here's what tells our team a Novato property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
Recognizing one of these early is the difference between a contained repair and a gutted room, so reach out to our Novato team before it spreads.
From a single flooded closet to a three-story commercial building, our Novato crews scale the response to match the actual damage. Each item on this list corresponds to an actual step in our process, not a generic label.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors built to clear a flooded Novato room before water soaks deeper into the subfloor. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Our drying plans rely on moisture meters and thermal imaging to target air movers exactly where hidden Novato moisture is trapped, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
For Novato homeowners, that means flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything salvageable, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
For commercial Novato accounts, we assign a lead, run crews outside normal hours to limit downtime, and size equipment to the actual footprint — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Novato get handled under strict Category 3 protocol from containment through documented disposal.
We treat affected materials during every Novato job specifically to lower mold risk, and flag anything that needs deeper remediation.
Every Novato estimate is written and explained up front — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.

Every Novato job closes based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say so. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That commitment is written into every Novato work order we issue, not just mentioned in a sales pitch. We try to return the same crew for any callback so the person handling it already knows the property and the original readings.
Trust matters, but in restoration work, documented moisture readings matter more, and that's what our Novato guarantee is built on.
