Whether it's a slow drip that finally gave out or a sudden flood at midnight, Novato residents call one number and get a real answer. We built our Novato dispatch around speed, because every extra hour of standing water costs more to repair.
Hirex Water Damage didn't start as a franchise looking for a new zip code to expand into — it started because Novato homeowners kept describing the same frustrating experience: a national hotline, a long hold, and a subcontractor nobody vetted. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Certification isn't just a logo on our site — our Novato crew leads have logged real hours on clean, gray, and contaminated water losses, which is why Structural Drying in Novato is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. We carry full liability coverage and hold active licensing to operate throughout Novato, CA.
Because our gear is staged locally rather than shipped in, Novato response times run well ahead of a typical national franchise.
Ask any Novato property manager who's dealt with an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you the real cost isn't the leak itself — it's how long standing water sits before someone with the right equipment shows up. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
We also invest in ongoing technician training, since restoration methods and equipment keep evolving and a Novato crew running outdated techniques does the property a disservice.
The Novato jobs that end up gutting a room almost always started quiet, not with a flood. Here's what tells our team a Novato property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Novato line and we'll give you a straight answer on urgency.
Whether it's a small residential leak or a large commercial loss, our Novato teams size the crew and equipment to fit. Each item on this list corresponds to an actual step in our process, not a generic label.
Truck-mount extraction on every Novato rig means high-volume pickup starts the same day, not the next. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Our drying plans rely on moisture meters and thermal imaging to target air movers exactly where hidden Novato moisture is trapped, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
On the residential side in Novato, we handle the flood cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so the home is ready for rebuild, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
Multi-unit and commercial properties in Novato get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment for the real square footage, not a token setup — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination — our Novato crews are trained for that exact protocol.
We treat affected materials during every Novato job specifically to lower mold risk, and flag anything that needs deeper remediation.
Every Novato estimate is written and explained up front — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Because equipment is staged inside Novato, most calls see a technician on-site in under an hour.
We photograph and log every step so your Novato claim moves faster and you're not arguing with an insurer alone.

Our Novato technicians take moisture readings at the start and end of every job, and the final number has to hit dry standard before we leave. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That commitment is written into every Novato work order we issue, not just mentioned in a sales pitch. A repeat visit under this guarantee means picking up exactly where the last one left off, not starting from scratch.
A guarantee only means something if it's backed by documented numbers, which is why every Novato job closes with instrument readings attached.
